thermochemical route [1 record]

Record 1 2008-05-15

English

Subject field(s)
  • Biomass Energy
CONT

The thermochemical pathway will use intact (raw) biomass or just the non-carbohydrate portion to produce synthesis gas (analogous to natural gas for electricity and heating) and/or heavy oils (analogous to heating oil used for space heating), either of which then can be converted into a wide range of fuels and chemicals products.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Énergie de la biomasse
CONT
